1.Editorial (opinionated. there are some technicalities to follow. must be concise and no use of highfaluting words)
2.Feature (the complete opposite of editorial. free writing. must be creative and its advantageous to be a bit wordy and big on descriptions.)
Graar. Thank you Lord for blessing me with the ability to juggle these two opposite fields and getting me through this effin' day. Magkasunod ang fields ko. I was cursing the schedule earlier. One hour per field sa pag contest proper na, plus may preceding reminders muna on how to properly construct your article and of course, pointers from the judge.
That's more than two hours of listening to the lectures, extracting both my creative juices AND opinions...all in one day. I went home tired and full of tension with the outcomes tomorrow. I'm proud to say our school has been the defending champs of the press-con for 7 years. Talk about serious journalism! But yeah,we're not so serious during the trainings. Right now I feel sleepy and my brain seriously needs to refresh. My brain cells are running low on fuel.
