the love will remain

ok..i've been sick for almost 4 days now. its like my fever is being switched on and off every two hours. However, today, I feel so much better but mom will take me to the doctor tomorrow morning. She predicts I have bronchitis (*gulp*) O_O.

Anyways, I just remembered this yesterday but I didn't get to post as I was bed-ridden the entire day. Last Sunday, our youth group at church watched a short clip, about 15 minutes long. There was a white ball found within the house of a family and the dad was wondering where it came from. He asked his wife: No idea. His youngest son: No idea. His eldest son: "I don't know. Its just the strangest thing!I have no idea"...in a sarcastic tone. By that time, it was pretty obvious who the thief was. The following day, the two brothers were playing and the older one pushed his brother. The little one ran down and told their parents. When asked, the older one said "I didn't push him. Its just the strangest thing.I have no idea..." Then the mother said "Just like the time you took the white ball?". BUSTED. The older one ran upstairs and hid for almost two hours. Coming home from work, the wife told her husband what happened. Instantly, the father looked for his child and found him in their bedroom. He saw a little shivering lump under their covers. He sat beside this lump, slowly removed the sheets and there he was, all sweaty and in tears. The little boy said "i'm sorry dad" and this is what the father said: "There's nothing you can do to make me love you less...".

Explanation and relevance to our own lives:
Its the beauty of how much God, as a Father, Saviour, Friend..everything!...loves us. No matter how much crap we get ourselves into, no matter how many stupid mistakes we commit, there is nothing we can do to make God love us less. We can turn away from Him, but He will never turn away from us. Isn't that wonderful to know?So guys, don't hesitate to ask for forgiveness whenever we do something stupid or something over our heads. God's love will never change.
