extra curriculars.

Extra curriculars.

Anong pumapasok sa isip nyo kapag naririnig ang dalawang salitang ito? Ako? Eto:

Exhibit A: a very good excuse (or very good excuses) not to worry about classes and some exams.
Exhibit B: a great opportunity to gain points for those running in honors...or to simply get out once in a while to be involved in something you excel in..or if you're not good at what you joined, you have a chance to explore hidden talents..and so on and so forth.
Exhibit C: You get to try a lot of cool stuff and equally cool people along the way.

Now, bakit ko naman naipost ang tungkol sa extra-curriculars? Kasi by next week, July 25th-28th merong Regional Journalism Training. I was asked to join since prospect ata akong maging ed-in-chief for our school paper next year. Tapos, on August 4-6, merong leadership training dito sa SBMA pero wala pang exact venue. Magssubmit pa kami ng forms (for those chosen) sa city hall for screening at orientation na ren. Sa September, kapag may CMLI sa Teachers' Camp sa Baguio, my mom asked me to join. Eh di syempre willing ang bruha. Haha naexperience ko na kasi yun nung grade 6, and it was A BLAST.

Third yr nako. Nung first and second year, ang tanging extra curricular ko lang eh yung press conference every year, but this year, nakakaoverwhelm yung mga [halos] week-long na trainings, seminars, other out of school activities. Start pa lang to, I feel there will be more in the future.

Eto ang questions na bumabagabag sa ken when it comes to E.C's.
1. Ang nasa isip ko lang..kaya ko kaya? [Kaya ko! Ibibigay ba tong chances na to kung di ako pwede dun?]
2.Pano yung mga class na mamimiss ko?[Di pabaya ang school ko, I'll be excused, and war na 'to kapag napabayaan grades ko. Besides,matetest na ren discipline ko, responsibility and ability to cope up].

Bottom line, accept na lang ng accept. Of course may careful thinking din, pero considering these chances, sayang di ba? Its up to me to balance things out and take these activities to my advantage.
