VANITY!

I think I'm infatuated to one of our school's freshmen. Haha. His name is Jody Saliba. Yeah weird name, but he.is.so.cute.better yet,he.is.one.handsome.creature. But anyways, my post isn't about him or his really "astig" looks or whatever, but about...ten tenen nen! (that was cheesy haha)..VANITY.

Its funny that I see someone vain if he/she is somewhat like me: the i-love-to-take-pictures-of-my-self-on-cam-fones-so-i-consider-myself-a-camwhore type of person.But just a few days ago, something hit me that vanity is more than that.

Sometimes vain people don't know they're vain, because their primary focus is, of course, themselves at certain moments. I can't totally argue that vain people are also self-centered (probably only on their LOOKS since the dictionary describes vanity as "taking pride in one's looks). I guess you could say that vain people aren't totally self-centered, rather too proud or a little too concerned about their looks.

Its not bad to worry about how you look since physical attributes still play a part in one's self-esteem and the way a person carries himself. But as always, anything too much could be dangerous..such as too much vanity. Being vain in itself isn't a good "habit" to practice (though i would admit i sometimes couldn't control mine.hehe), we shouldn't let it get the best of us, as vanity is an embodiment of showing pride. So yeah, vain or not vain, you decide. ;)
